[Week 26/30] - Theme: Loud Noises
30 Week Project
Thoughts
I couldn't think of any loud noises that inspired me to take a photo... but then I thought of the very familiar sound of my camera shutter. It's not loud, or annoying, but a sound I have grown accustomed to hearing while taking my many thousands of photos with my one and only dear 600D. The camera in this photo is my father's first SLR in his younger days - a Minolta X-700 with a 50mm f/1.7 lens. I sometimes think I was pretty much destined to have a passion for photography. I also wish to get this film camera up and running one day... I spent the first few months of this year entirely obsessed with researching film photography and cameras, and really excited to try it out. But getting everything fixed, buying and developing film etc, doesn't come cheap...
I know there is still plenty more to learn, and plenty more to experiment with. So it's a small dream for the near future that I hope to fulfill c:
This will be my last upload from Malta. Tomorrow back to the land I love so much - dear Scotland
Of course, plenty more photo opportunities await! I gifted myself with a new lens to enjoy for this trip - the Canon EF-S 24mm STM. I hope to never have to use the kit lens again c:
