Thoughts and Description
This pendant was one of the things I REALLY wanted a macro lens for. Yet, it took me a year to finally think of how I was going to photograph it - when I found this little pine cone while out earlier this year, it just clicked. I was also inspired by the Twilight books (which I was re-reading around that time) to combine my beautiful vintage, intricate and blood-coloured jewel with an element of nature that, like the jewel and the never-dying vampires, lasts forever.
This is a hand-me-down from my grandmother - I truly love it, and wear it every day. It deserved a place in my gallery
Edit 27/05/14 - OMG - My second DD!! Wow - I still can't believe it! What a truly lovely surprise to wake up to - a reason to feel ecstatic during these long and boring days of never-ending studying!!! I'm truly honoured - this photo is special to me and I'm so glad it was actually chosen to be featured!!! Thank you ever so much Kaz-D
These are the moments when I feel extra proud to have put in so much time, love, money and effort into a hobby that I will never regret falling in love with and pursuing

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactGreat work, steady impact, I think you need a different color for the background. I think a green, blue or orange background is in someway is better than the yellow, there is a magical touch in the shot, the camera is just a way to show your passion about a shot, well this is my opinion, great work.
