Thoughts I usually have an explanation for my photos - I can't put this one into words though. There's two photos anyway - if one picture says a thousand words... two should say much more.
I like diptychs - they tell a little bit more about the story that cannot be put into words.
I've been asked recently how I pick my favorite photos. That also barely has an explanation - I had to stop and think about it. I guess they just have to make me feel something; good photos just bring me emotion, thought and feeling. When that happens, then I know that in my eyes, and in my heart, I have a good photo. This one was no exception.

This is very beautiful! Your idea of taking a picture of a flower during and after the rain is nice since the flowers get a new look.
The first photo really looks like it's raining because you captured the raindrops. I don't know what you used to get that but it's nice.
In the second picture the water makes them sparkle I think. I personally saw flowers like that although I just wet them with water gun. The flower itself is pretty. The center which has the color of a deep violet is complemented by the yellow things which I think is the place which holds the pollen.
Hello! I'd like to write a critique to you, because the first impression totally flashed me! The flower is simply pretty. I have not found it in my town, but I am happy you took the opportunity to take a picture of it. Using rain (although I do not know whether it is artificial (by spraying) or real) makes the whole picture much more vivid and gives it a fresh style. I do also love the colors. The soft purple, combined with the great depth of field - not too shallow, but also not too deep - invites us to dream this miracle. I also like that you use a dyptich to express it. To be honest, I would have loved to see both pictures separated, too.
I am flashed, and I have nothing to criticize. Your watermark is well placed and almost invisible.
