Description It's about time I uploaded something Movember related! Basically for those who do not know what Movember is, it's an international and yearly month-long event which aims to promote awareness of charities related to prostate cancer and other male-associated cancers and issues. As a Medical student, I feel all the more responsible to also raise awareness for this campaign (photography is the most I can do - can't grow a mustache! )
Yesterday our Medical Student's Association here in Malta (MMSA) celebrated International Men's Day (which celebrates the male persona on a holistic level) - many people baked all sorts of muffins and cookies to give out against donations - all the money proceedings will go for programs supporting prostate cancer in fields such as those of awareness, research and education.
This is one of the muffins baked by a friend of mine - they were absolutely cute, and even more so, yummy!

What a nice way to create awareness! I really like this - I wish I had been to that event which you speak of. I like the soft tones of this picture; also the angle is nice. I find it hard to angle my shots correctly when photographing inanimate objects. As always, I love the square frame and most of all. It just looks yummy!
It was! We have many such campaigns, but this one was definitely the sweetest one (pun intended )
Thanks a lot :3 Well, it usually comes naturally to me to move around till it looks rightly framed, but a general trick is usually to be more or less at eye-level with it (I was on my knees to take this ) In this case I was pointing a bit down to get some of the face 3:
God, I love puns. ~_* Thank you for your advice on how to take pictures of objects! I tried taking pics of marshmallows and it was really hard to frame it. I tried bird-perspective and really zoomed in and really zoomed out. Nothing really worked.
