It's about time I uploaded something Movember related! Basically for those who do not know what Movember is, it's an international and yearly month-long event which aims to promote awareness of charities related to prostate cancer and other male-associated cancers and issues. As a Medical student, I feel all the more responsible to also raise awareness for this campaign (photography is the most I can do - can't grow a mustache!
)
Yesterday our Medical Student's Association here in Malta (MMSA) celebrated International Men's Day (which celebrates the male persona on a holistic level) - many people baked all sorts of muffins and cookies to give out against donations - all the money proceedings will go for programs supporting prostate cancer in fields such as those of awareness, research and education.
This is one of the muffins baked by a friend of mine - they were absolutely cute, and even more so, yummy!
