Concept and Description
_{The little boat (which represents me), is jumping out of the fishbowl (which represents the little world which I currently live in and am familiar with). Beyond the fishbowl is a bigger ocean, one I have never explored, but so willing to take the first jump to do so. It's also a little beach-summer themed because my summer is finally coming to an end - and its end marks the start of my new journey.

Tomorrow is the first day of third year - the first of the three clinical years of medical school. Ever since receiving my timetables earlier this week, I have been super excited to start. I'm excited because it's no longer going to be plain and simple lectures anymore like what I've been used to for so many years of my life - but a much larger taste of what my future job, and life, is going to be like. Seeing real surgeries, real scenarios, real patients... real people requiring the knowledge and skills I am to continue gaining now, and for as long as I live.}

_{This little fishbowl has brought me out of that little hole which left me with very little inspiration for new conceptual still lifes over the summer. I have long had the idea of using an origami boat to symbolize travelling but I didn't have too clear an image in my head till I thought of it in terms of this new favorite prop of mine.
I was immensely pleased also with the feedback I received on the other fishbowl photo I uploaded earlier this week. I have so many more ideas which involve it, and in fact I'm very keen on kicking off a little series with the fishbowl always featuring in some way to aid in the concept.}
